Installing of Carbides in Steel on Mac PCs --------------------------------------------- Before you install and run the Carbides in Steel, you should check the following minimum system requirements: - Mac OS X (Jaguar, Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Panther, Snow Leopard, Tiger, Sierra Nevada), - RAM: Recommended 1 Gb RAM or greater, - Hard disk free space: 800 Mb, - Recommended screen resolution: 800 x 600 pixels or higher, - Browser Safari, Mozilla for the OS X. In order to install the Carbides in Steel, please download and run the corresponding zip file from the website: https://www.steeldata.info/carbides/html/download.html https://www.steeldata.info/carbides/html/demo.html Once the download has finished, please uncompress the zip-file into some temporary directory e.g. Carbides. Note: All zip files was tested by the ESET program. 2. Installation and Running the Software ---------------------------------------- Installing the full version: 1. Download the Carbides in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/carbides/html/download.html. 2. In the folder Downloads, double click the zip file carb.zip and extract the files. 3. Drag and move the folder Carbides into the folder Documents. 4. In the folder carbides, make the alias from the file index.html. 5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop. 6. Rename the name index.html to the Carbides in Steel. 7. Double clik the icon Carbides in Steel and run the database. Installing the demo version: 1. Download the Carbides in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/carbides/html/demo.html. 2. In the folder Carbides_Demo, double click the zip file carb_demo.zip and extract the files. 3.
