1. Installing of Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel on Mac PCs
------------------------------------------------------------

Before you install and run the Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel, you should check the following minimum system requirements:

- Mac OS X (Jaguar, Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Panther, Snow Leopard, Tiger, Sierra Nevada),
- RAM: Recommended 1 Gb RAM or greater,
- Hard disk free space: 600 Mb,
- Recommended screen resolution: 800 x 600 pixels or higher,
- Browser Safari, Mozilla for the OS X.

In order to install the Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel, please download and run the corresponding zip file from the website:

     https://www.steeldata.info/inclusions/html/download.html
     https://www.steeldata.info/inclusions/html/demo.html

Once the download has finished, please uncompress the zip-file into some temporary directory e.g. inclusions.
Note: All zip files was tested by the ESET program.


2. Installation and Running the Software
----------------------------------------

Installing the full version:
1. Download the Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/inclusions/html/download.html.
2. In the folder Downloads, double click the zip file nmi.zip and extract the files.
3. Drag and move the folder  Non-Metallic_Inclusions into the folder Documents.
4. In the folder Non-Metallic_Inclusions, make the alias from the file index.html.
5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop.
6. Rename the name index.html to the Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel.
7. Double clik the icon Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel and run the database.

Installing the demo version:
1. Download the Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/inclusions/html/demo.html.
2. In the folder Non-Metallic_Inclusions_Demo, double click the zip file nmi_demo.zip and extract the files.
3. Drag and move the folder Non-Metallic_Inclusions_Demo into the folder Documents.
4. In the folder Non-Metallic_Inclusions_Demo, make the alias from the file index.html.
5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop.
6. Rename the name index.html to the Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel.
7. Double clik the icon Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel and run the database.


3. Uninstallation of Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel
-----------------------------------------------------

1. Drag and move the icon Non-Metallic Inclusions in Steel from the Desktop into the Trash.
2. In the folder Documents, drag and move the folder Non-Metallic_Inclusions or Non-Metallic_Inclusions_Demo into the Trash
