1. Installing of Macro Defects in Steel on Mac PCs
--------------------------------------------------

Before you install and run the Macro Defects in Steel, you should check the following minimum system requirements:

- Mac OS X (Jaguar, Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Panther, Snow Leopard, Tiger, Sierra Nevada),
- RAM: Recommended 1 Gb RAM or greater,
- Hard disk free space: 600 Mb,
- Recommended screen resolution: 800 x 600 pixels or higher,
- Browser Safari, Mozilla for the OS X.

In order to install the Macro Defects in Steel, please download and run the corresponding zip file from the website:

     https://www.steeldata.info/macro/html/download.html
     https://www.steeldata.info/macro/html/demo.html

Once the download has finished, please uncompress the zip-file into some temporary directory.
Note: All zip files was tested by the ESET program.


2. Installation and Running the Software
----------------------------------------

Installing the full version:
1. Download the Macro Defects in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/macro/html/download.html.
2. In the folder Downloads, double click the zip file macro.zip and extract the files.
3. Drag and move the folder Macro_Defects_Steel into the folder Documents.
4. In the folder Macro_Defects_Steel, make the alias from the file index.html.
5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop.
6. Rename the name index.html to the Macro Defects in Steel.
7. Double clik the icon Macro Defects in Steel and run the database.

Installing the demo version:
1. Download the Macro Defects in Steel from the web site https://www.steeldata.info/macro/html/demo.html.
2. In the folder Macro_Defects_Steel_Demo, double click the zip file macro_demo.zip and extract the files.
3. Drag and move the folder Macro_Defects_Steel_Demo into the folder Documents.
4. In the folder Macro_Defects_Steel_Demo, make the alias from the file index.html.
5. Drag and Move the alias into the Desktop.
6. Rename the name index.html to the Macro Defects in Steel.
7. Double clik the icon Macro Defects in Steel and run the database.


3. Uninstallation of Macro Defects in Steel
-------------------------------------------

1. Drag and move the icon Macro Defects in Steel from the Desktop into the Trash.
2. In the folder Documents, drag and move the folder Macro_Defects_Steel or Macro_Defects_Steel_Demo into the Trash
