SUPERPLAST 350 Steel

Steel name: SUPERPLAST 350
Diagram No.: 1625
Chemical composition in weight %: 0.23-0.27% C, max. 0.20% Si, 1.00-1.60% Mn, max. 0.020% P, max. 0.020% S, 1.00-2.50% Cr, max. 1.00% Ni, 0.60-0.80% Mo
Steel group: Plastic mould steels
Properties: SUPERPLAST 350 can be used in substitution to W1.2738 High Hard and W1.2711. Compared to those conventional grades, it provides outstanding through hardening properties, ensuring perfect hardness consistency through the whole thickness, even for heavy sections (600mm).
Applications: All injection molds requesting high mechanical properties: Long series, high injection pressure and compression molds. Chemistry of SUPERPLAST® 350 is also designed to achieve drastic reduction of segregations, compared to conventional W1.2711 or W1.2738.
Reference: Not shown in this demo version.
