AUD72 Steel

Steel name: AUD72
Diagram No.: 1839
JIS designation: SKD7
Chemical composition in weight %: No data
Steel group: Hot work tool steels
Properties: AUD72 is a high strength hot work tool steel with improved toughness, hot temperature strength and hardenability over SKD7. Using in place of SKD61, optimal for improving life of dies with problems of heat checks and wear. (1) Favorable resistance to softening at high temperatures (2) favorable heat strength and resistance to wear.
Applications: Hot work forging press dies (rapid hot work forging die, hot work closed forging die, hot work extrusion die) casting dies, etc.
Reference: Not shown in this demo version.
