Finkl DRX is recommended for hot heading, hot forging, hot punching, hot piercing, and hot trimming dies. DRX is also recommended for heavy duty hot and cold shear blades, forming tools, and bending tools.

Heat Treatment
Hardening: [1700-1750F] (925-950 C) soaking 30 min. Small sections - cool in air. Medium or Large sections - cool in oil.
Tempering: See figure; hold 1 hr. per inch (25 min. per cm) of thickness.
