Properties: Very high abrasive wear resistance, low distortion, high quality steel for punching dies with excellent dynamic load resistance due to special heat treatment, nitridable.
Applications: Cutting, stamping and precise punching tools, extrusion tools subject to cracking and complex cutting, shear blades; cutters for austenitic grade steel after nitriding. High stress plastic moulds, mould inserts for high abrasive wear applications.

Heat Treatment
Hardening: Temperature: 980-1080°C. Duration: 90 sec per 1 mm wall thickness.
Tempering: Temperature: see curve. Duration: 1 h per 25 mm wall thickness. Cooling: air
