Properties: Standard die steel, with properties similar to 2713 grade with improved tempering resistance and better through hardening to 1500 N/mm2 ~ 440 HB.
Applications: Large compression dies for aluminium plastic working, hammer dies at large quantities irrespective of die size and punching die mould, die holders, tool and die holders, tool containers. Die-casting moulds.

Heat Treatment
Hardening: Temperature: 880°C. Duration: 60 sec per 1 mm wall thickness.
Tempering: Temperature: see curve. Duration: 1 h Per 25 mm wall thickness. Cooling: air.
