1.2767 Steel

Steel name: 1.2767
Diagram No.: 2213
Mat.No. (Wr.Nr.) designation: 1.2767
DIN designation: X45NiCrMo4
Chemical composition in weight %: 0.45% C, 0.25% Si, 0.30% Mn, 0.025% P, 0.003% S, 1.30% Cr, 0.25% Mo, 4.00% Ni
Steel group: Cold work tool steels
Properties: Low distortion, air through hardened nickel alloy tool steel, very good resistance to dynamic loads; high gloss polishable for transparent melts, blowhole resistant.
Applications: High stress injection and compression moulds, e.g. boot lids, mudguards; high hardness mould inserts for high abrasive wear applications. Blanking dies for very thick materials (steel sheets up to 12 mm), billet shear blades, industrial blades. Stamping dies for cutlery and knocking out tools, drop forging dies; mandrel holders.
Reference: Not shown in this demo version.
