Applications: Typical applications are dies and die-inserts for forging presses, tools in die-casting and metal-extrusion-dies and mandrels. The steel grade corresponds with the special requirements of the die-casting and metal-extrusion industry.

Heat Treatment
Hardening: 1030 – 1050 °C, air /oil /gas-stream.
Tempering: 600 – 640 °C.
