Properties: KeyLos 2312 is the pioneer alloyed steel grade designed for the manufacture of small and medium sized injection and compression moulding dies, up to 600 mm. thick, that require excellent machining properties.
Applications: KeyLos 2312 in the pre-hardened condition is suitable for the following applications: Plastic moulding, extrusion.

Heat Treatment
Hardening: 860 °C, polymer or water quench.
Tempering: See the diagram.
