Properties: KeyLos UP is a special and innovative pre-hardened steel with improved penetration hardening, machinability and polishability, obtained through a special ‘super clean’ manufacturing process, which allows high level of microcleanness.
Applications: KeyLos UP is suitable for the following applications. Plastic moulding: Medium and big sized moulds for the automotive industry; moulds for the food industry; pressure moulds (SMC, BMC); bolsters. Extrusion: Dies and gauges for PVC extrusion; mechanical parts for extrusion presses.

Hardening: 850 °C, polymer or water quench.
