Properties: A screw machining grade, UGI® 4029 is a martensitic steel whose machinability is improved by the addition of sulphur. Recommended for machined parts with high mechanical properties, it will be used in relatively unaggressive environments (oils, greases, cold detergents, etc.).
Applications: Mechanical engineering, transport, food and food processing industry, defence, oil and petrochemicals industry, electronic equipment. Machined parts, screw machining.
