Etchant (Electrolyte) Composition: 62 ml perchloric acid, 700 ml ethanol, 100 ml butyl cellosolve, 137 ml distilled water.
Procedure (Condition): Current density: 3.85 A/cm2, time: 20 s.
Note: Mix ethanol and water, add perchloric cerefully. Immediately before use, add butyl cellosolve. Pump electrolyte. For Al and Al-Al3Ni alloys. Lemskey and coworkers.
