Etchant (Electrolyte) Composition: 200 ml methanol, 50 ml H2SO4, 50 ml HCl, 20 ml ehylene glycol.
Procedure (Condition): Voltage dc: 6-10 V, time: 2-4 min or more.
Note: Use platinum for cathode and anode lead wires. Polish samples mechanically to a fine abrasive. Electropolish with agitated solution. If a frostu film appears, add HCl a few drops at a time to the solution. Never touch the surface with cotton. Coons.
