Chemical composition in weight %: 0.29% C, 0.019% S, 0.24% Si, 0.63% Cr, 4.15% Ni, 0.17% V, 0.20 % Cu, 0.38% Mn, 1.15% Mo, 0.019% P.
Electrolyte: 3% KBr in distilled water H2O (108 g KBr + 3492 ml H2O, 54 g KBr + 1750 ml H2O)
Anode: Sample.
Cathode: Grid from the Pt.
Reference electrode: Calomel.
Experimental conditions: U(start)=-380 mV, U=80 mV, I6.20=580 mA, I12.25=435 mA.
Time: 6.05 hours.
Results: Sample weight before dissolution: 47.7692 g, sample weight after dissolution: 44.7372 g, difference: 3.032 g, weight of extraction residues: 0.156 g.
Phases in steel: In steel> 40 % Mo2C, 33% M3C of carbides.
Note: XRD sample preparation, electrolytic phase extraction. Sample is quenched from 820 C on air then was tempered at 700 C.
